Resident Evil 6 demo on 360 two months before PS3

The Resident Evil 6 demo will have a staggered release which will see it made available to some Xbox 360 players two months before anyone on the PlayStation 3.

The demo will be made available on July 3 to consumers who purchase the multiplatform Dragon’s Dogma on Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 gamers who buy Dragon’s Dogma will have to wait until September 4.

Capcom didn't give a firm explanation for the unprecedented delay, telling Gaming target, "This was a strategic business decision," but failing to offer further reasoning.

Meanwhile, all other players will have to wait until September 20 to download the demo on both Xbox 360 and PS3.

what's strange is it's on a multi-platform title. don't know much about that title but I guess MS want that title to succeed on the xbox more than on the ps3 :P

Yeah, but people who buy it on PS3 still get it 2 weeks earlier. So strange that on 360 it's 8 weeks early [Shifty]
